GRACE Care Baskets...Providing Comfort When it is Needed Most.

GRACE Care Baskets can be ordered by friends or family on behalf of the parents who have just experienced a pregnancy or infant loss.  A Missing GRACE representative will hand deliver a basket if the Basket order is within the Minnesota Twin Cities Metro Area.  The GRACE Care Basket or GRACE Totes not being hand delivered are shipped priority overnight or delivered by currier service.  It is important that baskets are received by the parents while still in the hospital with the baby whenever possible.  The resources are still of great value and help however, if parents are receiving the basket after giving the baby up to the hospital or after they have gone home.  The last 2 items are not included if the parents will receive it after the baby is no longer with them.

Large GRACE Care Baskets (for 20 weeks to full term babies) contains:

• Resource folder with helpful items created by Missing GRACE Foundation comprised of poems, GRACE newsletter and support materials such as bereavement book catalogs
• Hand made baby blanket - small 18”x18” to med 3’x3’
• Small votive candle that has been decorated with baby foot charms or angels and pink or blue ribbons
• Small to medium size teddy bear or other comforting stuffed animal
• Angel figure, statue, or ornament
• Necklace, bracelet, or pin with baby feet, angels, hearts, or stars  
• Journal   
• Aroma therapy warmer (rice filled fabric bag, heated in microwave provides warmth and comfort)
• Book: When a Child Dies, resource to help in planning a memorial service by Trina Charles and Heidi Ciepielinski
• Book: Empty Arms by Sherokee Ilse
• Hand and foot molding kit
• Quality disposable camera with automatic flash
   

Small GRACE Care Baskets (prior to 20 weeks including miscarriage or ectopic pregnancies) contains: 

• Resource folder with helpful items created by Missing GRACE Foundation comprised of poems, GRACE newsletter and support materials such as bereavement book catalogues

*The GRACE Care Totes contain all the same items as what comes in a Basket, however the shipping costs are significantly less expensive.
