G.R.A.C.E. Conference "On the Journey: Pregnancy, Infant loss, Infertility & Adoption"
Are you feeling the ache of empty arms? Is your family building not going the way you had planned? This conference offers a place for people dealing with these issues to Grieve, Restore, Arise, Commemorate & Educate. Fri. night experience music from Heart of the City, special dance & drama by local performing groups, and participate in a candle-lighting remembrance ceremony. Sat. gather resources: exhibitors from variety of groups including adoption agencies, bereavement support groups & medical care providers. Choose your itinerary on Sat. with 17 classes offered during the 4 breakout sessions and participate in the Silent Auction. Many special guest speakers: Jon & Sylvia Van Regenmorter, directors of Stepping Stones, Sherokee Ilse, author of Empty Arms, Dr. Jason Collins, OB/GYN, president of The Pregnancy Institute & Dr. Bruce Campbell from The Center for Reproductive Medicine. Medical career track designed for 4.5 CEU credit hours. GRACE Kids' program on Sat. for ages 6 wks. -14 yrs. Childcare on Fri. evening for ages 6 wks.-5 yrs. Friday’s program is 6-9pm (5pm registration) & Saturday March 27th is from 9:15am-5:15pm (8:30am registration). Location is: First Covenant Church, 810 South 7th Street Minneapolis, across from the Metro dome. Free parking. Cost is $90 per couple or $60 per person to attend both Fri. & Sat.
