Coon Rapids GRACE Support Group
Dates: The first Monday of every month Meets from: 6:30 to 8:30pm Location: Faith Lutheran Church (Room assignment varies, please check posted sign at the door) 11115 Hanson Blvd. Coon Rapids, MN 55443 ***We ask that you call ahead if you plan to come so we know to expect you. Maple Grove GRACE Support Group
Dates: The second and fourth Tuesdays of each month Meets from: 6:30pm to 8:30pm Location: Maple Grove Covenant Church 9350 Upland Lane Maple Grove, MN 55369 Facilitators: Candy and Stephen McVicar *MGF provides childcare during the meetings. A free will donation towards the childcare fee is appreciated but not required. The first meeting of each month includes topic led discussions on subjects including: differences in male/female grieving, relationships with friends and family through the grieving journey, coping with holidays and anniversary dates, health issues and concerns, subsequent pregnancy fears, and other related topics. Held in the room called the Prayer Room. Enter at front doors and go to the right of the sanctuary. The second meeting of each month the group does an activity that is helpful for the grieving process. (Scrap booking, crafts, video, having a guest speaker, candle light memorial service, etc.) Held in classroom 7. Enter at front doors and turn left down the hallway. Scheduled meeting dates: *Please mark your calendars for the following changes in our Support Group Meeting Schedule. We will be meeting for a BBQ Social on Saturday, July 12th, at Jeff and Angie Maidment's Home in Lakeville. Therefore, Tuesday, July 8th there will be NO MEETING at the Church. We will be meeting for a BBQ Social on Saturday, August 16th, at Steve and Candy McVicar's Home in Albertville. Therefore, Tuesday, August 12th there will be NO MEETING at the Church.
