Gifted writer and artist, Marianne Richmond has touched the lives of millions over the past decade through her publishing company, Marianne Richmond Studios, Inc. Her uplifting creations are sold nationwide from corner gift shops and bookstores to mass merchants and department stores. Since her start in 1991 with just 20 greeting cards, she has become a recognized creator of numerous books, hundreds of cards and bright, colorful giftware. Her goal that ties it all together? To help people convey their feelings and connect with those who mean the most to them, says Marianne.
What makes Marianne unique are her abilities as both writer and artist. When asked where her ideas come from, she says, I love to listen to people's stories. There are themes that emerge from these conversations and these are what I use to direct me to create my next book or product." I also ask, "What can I create to help make life a little more memorable, special or more fun? She loves to inspire others to make connections, honor their feelings and celebrate their abilities through her various speaking engagements with schools, women's groups and conferences.
Marianne has sold more than one million copies of her books and is especially thankful to use her work to help others.
Marianne lives in Minneapolis, MN with her husband, four kids, and their beloved Border Collie, Clay.
