Gretchen Wahlstedt 

In 2004 Gretchen gave birth to a healthy baby girl who was born with several cord issues, including a true knot and multiple wraps. After subsequently losing her nephew, Miles, to a cord accident in 2005, Gretchen made contact with Dr. Collins, who has since monitored both her and her sister's pregnancies, and each ended in positive outcomes. Gretchen has a B.A. in Anthropology from the University of California, as well as an M.S. in Education from Mt. St. Mary's College. She lives with her husband, David, daughter and son in Minneapolis. Gretchen and her husband run a bed and breakfast in Excelsior, MN.
