A graduate from the University of Iowa with a degree in biology, Alysia completed a Master of Science in human genetics at the University of MN. She has worked as the genetic counselor at North Perinatal Center at North Memorial Medical Center since 1992. Alysia has participated in the multidisciplinary infant loss group at North for many years.
